💡 As much as Flaneer is meant for professional usage, it is entirely possible to play video games on Flaneer ! There’s a few things you might want to look out for though.
You can play pretty much any game compatible with Windows on Flaneer, just install Steam, Epic Games Launcher or any resource where you have your games and you can play straight away !
We recommend using machines with GPUs to get optimal graphics and response times.
For demanding games, we recommend the NVIDIA GPU machines like the Iron or the Silver.
Install your game directly on the C: drive and not the U: drive. The U: drive is made up of cloud files and is great for files, but not for applications that need the SSD performance.
With a good enough internet connection, you can get a 4K 60fps experience. On average, we recommend around 60Mb/s internet connection or more for a good experience on graphic intensive games.
To get the best experience, we recommend using the local app (downloadable here under the name “NICE DCV 2022.0 Client”). This will allow for the lowest latencies and image quality.
To allow infinite mouse movement on the sides of your screens, you might want to turn on the “Relative Mouse Position” (Ctrl+Shift+F8 Shortcut). It will keep your mouse in the Streaming session.
If your computer is on Windows, you can connect an Xbox or DualShock controller in Bluetooth or USB and use it straight on Flaneer !
If you’re having troubles with this connection, your base environment may need to be updated, contact the Flaneer support if you need to.
