This page describes how to create a new Flaneer Image with specific applications.
This Flaneer Image will allow you to quickly start a new Workspace and stream to your users.
Before creating your new Flaneer Image, you must already have a Workstation.
Go to your Manage Workspaces page, and then to your Workstations panel. If your Workstations is Turned off, launch it by clicking the Start button. Your Workstations will now enter the Starting… state, and will then be ready for you.
When your Workstations is ready (in the Running state), you will be able to access it. Click on the Connect button: a new page should open. You session is getting ready and in a few minutes, you should be connected to your Workstations.
Once you are connected to your Workstations, you can install applications from any application website or other download source. This process is the same as if you were on any other computer. Make you install everything you need before going to the next steps.
💡 Make sure you only install applications from sites that you trust.
If an application requires the Workstations to restart, let it do so. Just close your page after the shut-down and wait for a few minute. After the restart is complete, you will be able to connect to the Workstations again and finish your installations.
You will finally be able to create your Flaneer Environment. To do so, open your streaming Toolbar from the right of your streaming session, and click on the Create Environment button.
Your Workstation will now enter a Snapshotting state, and create your Flaneer Environment.
Go to your Manage Workspaces page. In the Environment panel, you should find your new Flaneer Environment in a Pending state. In the Workstations panel, you should find your instance in a Snapshotting state.
After some time, your Flaneer Environment will become Available, and you will be able to use it to launch a new Workstation or a new Workstation Group.
In the Environment panel from the Manage Workspaces page, you can manage your different Flaneer Environment. You can copy one Flaneer Environment to create a new one, or more simply delete the Flaneer Environment you do not need anymore.
Be careful with deleting Flaneer Environment, as some of them may currently be used by an ongoing Workstation.
Finally, stop or delete your Workstation.
To stop a Workstation, go to the Workstation panel, select your Workstation and click on the Stop button.
To delete a Workstation, go to the Workstation panel, select your Workstation and click on the More > Delete button.
