Flaneer provides a comprehensive permission system to manage your organization resources:
There are 5 different resource families:
For each resource, you have the ability to set 3 different roles:
2 scopes are available when you give a resource family role to a user:
💡 Useful if you want a user to view all the file systems of the organization
💡 Useful if you want a user to view only a specific file system of the organization
Here is a chart gathering the actions available by role on each resource:
In the Files section, if you are an admin for files system, you can see the file system general permissions management button on the top right. A modal opens when you click on it. You can see the list of users with general permissions on all file systems, and their roles:
With this modal, you can update general permissions and give general access to other users:
If you want a user to have a role on a specific file system, click on More then Permissions. A modal opens where you can give access to this specific file system:
As with the general file system modal, you can update user roles for this specific file system
The Directory tab gives you a global view of all the general permissions of all the organization resources, and access to update general Team Permissions.
