What is a workstation group?

A workstation group is a group of instances you are making available for your users. It is made of:

• A Flaneer Environment that you specify, letting your users access the software you want
• A Machine type, specifying the configuration of the instances (memory, computing power, GPU)
• A set of settings : files management, security, etc.

A Workstation Group is also defined by its maximum number of instances available. For example, a maximum number of instances of 15 means that only 15 users can be connected at the same time to the same workstation group. You can manually update this number, or use Scaling & Scheduling Policies.

To update this number, change the maximum number of instances available and click on the Update button at the bottom of the page.
